Collection Profile for:
Arizona State University Herpetology Photo Observations (ASU-ASUHEP)
The Arizona State University Herpetology Photo Observation Database is a citizen science repository of photographs illustrating observations of amphibians and reptiles across the North American Southwest, with an emphasis on Arizona. To submit an observation, please see the form and instructions at the Homepage link below.
Criteria for submission:
1. Observations must be submitted by the observer.
2. Photos should exemplify, and associated text should outline, features necessary to make the species determination.
In rare instances in which one or both of these criteria are not met, but the reviewers deem the observation important to include in the catalog, there will be a note in the observation's Description section that suggests "Use with caution," followed by caveats for use of the observation.
